Show Low, AZ
The Deuces Wild Triathlon Festival is one of the most popular weekend festivals in multisport. The weekend consists of four races: an Olympic distance triathlon, a long course triathlon, a youth triathlon and an off-road XTERRA America Tour triathlon.
All proceeds from the race benefit various charities, especially the Challenged Athletes Foundation and local White Mountain organizations.
The Festival kicks off on Saturday with the XTERRA Deuces Wild Triathlon. The race is part of the XTERRA American Tour where athletes can earn points towards becoming Regional Champions and qualifying for the XTERRA USA Championships. The race day is ended with the always exciting Youth Deuceathlon, a triathlon for the budding athletes and one of the more fun events to watch.
The Festival weekend is completed on Sunday with the DeuceMan Long Course Triathlon which takes athletes around a scenic tour of the White Mountains. The Olympic Distance Triathlon will follow, taking athletes out of Fool Hollow Lake Recreation Area, through the city of Show Low and back into the Ponderosa Pines.
